1. Legal Status of This Document

These Terms of Use constitute an electronic record and are published in accordance with applicable laws and regulations of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder, as applicable and amended from time to time.

By accessing, browsing, registering, or using the Umiya Parivar application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of the platform.

2. Definitions

• “Umiya Parivar”, “We”, “Us”, or “Our” refers to the Umiya Parivar application, website, and its operators.
• “User”, “Member”, or “You” refers to any individual who accesses or uses Umiya Parivar.
• “Registrant” refers to a person who creates or manages biodata on behalf of another individual with that individual's consent.
• “Services” refers to the features and functionalities provided through Umiya Parivar.
• “Biodata” refers to the personal, educational, professional, family, and other information submitted by a user for matrimonial purposes.
• “Content” includes biodata information, profile photographs, text, and other information submitted by users.

3. Nature and Scope of Services

Umiya Parivar is a community-focused biodata platform intended for eligible members of the Patidar community, including individuals associated with Kadava Patel and Leuva Patel communities.

The platform enables users to create, manage, browse, and discover biodata profiles for the purpose of exploring suitable matrimonial relationships within the community.

• Create and manage biodata profiles.
• Upload profile photographs and other permitted information.
• Browse approved biodata profiles.
• Explore personal, educational, professional, and family information provided in biodata.
• Discover profiles that may be suitable for matrimonial purposes.

4. No Guarantee of Matrimonial Outcome

Umiya Parivar provides a platform for users to create and discover biodata profiles. We do not guarantee that any user will find a suitable partner, receive a response, establish a relationship, or enter into a marriage through the platform.

Compatibility, suitability, communication, verification, and decisions relating to any relationship are solely the responsibility of the individuals involved.

5. Eligibility

Use of Umiya Parivar is subject to the applicable eligibility and minimum-age requirements of the platform.

• Users must meet the applicable minimum age requirements before creating biodata.
• Female applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Male applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Users must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
• If a person creates or manages biodata on behalf of another individual, they must have that individual's appropriate consent.
• The platform is intended for individuals belonging to or associated with the Patidar community.

6. Registration and Biodata Information

Users are responsible for providing information that is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading.

Users must ensure that the information contained in their biodata is appropriate for publication and does not violate the rights of another person.

• False, misleading, fraudulent, or intentionally inaccurate information is prohibited.
• Duplicate biodata for the same individual may be restricted or removed.
• Users should update their biodata when important information changes.
• Users should not submit another person's information without appropriate consent.
• Users should not include passwords, banking details, financial information, or other highly sensitive information in their biodata.

7. Profile Review and Approval

Submitted biodata may be reviewed by the Umiya Parivar administration before being made available to other users.

Administrative review is intended to help maintain the quality and appropriateness of content on the platform. However, approval does not constitute verification or certification of the identity, background, qualifications, financial status, family information, or other claims made by a user.

8. Accuracy of User Information

All biodata information is provided by users. Umiya Parivar does not guarantee that user-submitted information is accurate, complete, authentic, current, or suitable for any particular user.

Users should independently verify information and exercise appropriate caution before relying on information provided through the platform or making personal decisions based on such information.

9. Account Security

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and authentication information, including their registered mobile number and one-time passwords (OTP).

Users should not share authentication codes with another person. Any activity performed through an authenticated account may be attributed to the account holder unless unauthorized access is established.

10. User Responsibilities

By using Umiya Parivar, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in accordance with applicable laws.

Users must not:

• Upload unlawful, abusive, threatening, obscene, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate content.
• Upload content that exploits, harms, or sexualizes children.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Create fraudulent or misleading biodata.
• Use the platform for harassment, stalking, intimidation, or abuse.
• Collect or misuse personal information belonging to other users.
• Use the platform for unauthorized commercial purposes.
• Use bots, automated systems, scraping tools, or other methods to collect platform data without authorization.
• Attempt to bypass, disable, damage, or compromise platform security.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the application except where expressly permitted by applicable law.
• Upload content that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights.

11. User Conduct and Communication

Users are responsible for their interactions and communications with other users. Umiya Parivar does not control personal interactions between users and cannot guarantee the conduct, intentions, identity, or representations of another user.

Users should exercise reasonable caution when communicating with or meeting another person discovered through the platform.

12. Content Rights

Users retain ownership of the information and content they submit to Umiya Parivar.

By submitting content, users grant Umiya Parivar a non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited license to host, store, process, display, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, and provide the platform's services.

Umiya Parivar may remove, restrict, or disable access to content that violates these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal information is collected, stored, processed, and handled in accordance with the Umiya Parivar Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

By using the platform, you acknowledge that information submitted as part of your biodata may be displayed to other authorized users after the applicable review or approval process.

14. Third-Party Services

Umiya Parivar may use third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, analytics, advertising, communications, infrastructure, or other technical requirements.

The platform may also contain links to third-party websites or services. Umiya Parivar does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or privacy practices of external services.

15. Intellectual Property

The Umiya Parivar name, logo, branding, application design, website design, software, text, graphics, and other platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, modify, copy, sell, or commercially exploit platform materials without appropriate authorization.

16. Platform Availability

We aim to keep Umiya Parivar available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The platform may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, technical problems, network failures, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Umiya Parivar shall not be responsible for losses arising from inaccurate or misleading user-submitted information, interactions between users, decisions made based on biodata, technical interruptions, unauthorized access resulting from user negligence, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Use of the platform and reliance on information provided by other users is at the user's own discretion and risk.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Umiya Parivar, its operators, and associated parties from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from the user's misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, violation of applicable laws, or infringement of third-party rights.

19. Suspension and Termination

Umiya Parivar may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the platform where a user violates these Terms, applicable laws, or platform policies, or where such action is reasonably necessary to protect users, the platform, or the community.

Content may also be removed or restricted where it is found to violate applicable requirements or platform policies.

20. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account in accordance with the account deletion options available through the platform.

Following deletion, associated information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

Users may report concerns, inappropriate content, or violations of these Terms by contacting us.

22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, disputes arising in connection with these Terms or use of the platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Gujarat, India.

23. Changes to These Terms

Umiya Parivar may update or modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, applicable laws, or our services.

Updated Terms may be published on the website or within the application. Continued use of Umiya Parivar after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
